Acharya Swamishree presided over the 3-day patotsav (Anniversary of the Installation of the Divine Murti of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa) celebrations of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Bolton with the patotsav taking place on Sunday 16th August 2009.

The first day of celebrations was on 14th August - Janmashtami. In the evening young disciples perfromed drama based on stories from Lord Swaminarayan's childhood.

The second day of the celebrations, 15th August, was also India's Independence Day. Special Independence Day celebrations were held at the temple which was also attended by the Mayor of Bolton, Norman A Critchley.

The patotsav ceremony was performed by Acharya Swamishree on Sunday 16th August.
