Before His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree departed for Bolton, He gave His darshan to the disciples of London in front of the sinhasan draped in the Indian tricolour, in celebration of the anniversary of the Indian Independence Day. On the arrival of Acharya Swamishree in Bolton, Swamibapa Pipe Band salutes the Lord with the National anthem of India to commemorate Independence Day. The culture night consisted of beautiful colours and amazing costumes. Children of all ages showed their true love to the Lord. The Mayor of Bolton, Mr Walter Hall enjoyed the darshan of this auspicious event.
Many guests of Bolton where invited to join this auspicious event of cultural awareness. The official opening of the newly re-designed Shree Swaminarayan Art Gallery website was launched in the presence of Archarya Swamishree and the Mayor of Bolton. For the first time in UK, a Sant performed the world-renowned kunkoo dance. At the end of the dance, it was revealed that a perfect elephant was imprinted on to the cloth, purely by the feet of the performing Sant.
The guests of the evening enjoyed looking around the Gallery. The Mayor of Bolton, Mr Walter Hall, RT Hon Dr Brian Iddon MP Bolton SE and RT Hon Mr David Crausby MP Bolton NE, where presented with a paagh by Acharya Swamishree. Acharya Swamishree swaying Harikrishna Maharaj on the paranyu in celebration of Janmashtmi. The last part of the evening started off with young girls showing their love to the Lord through a variety of devotional dances.
